Challenge

After a decade of growth, the App plateaued and required a complete overhaul.

Influenster is a product sampling platform with 6 million active members and over 50 million reviews. A major strategic, structural, and visual overhaul was needed to breathe life back into the app, broaden their audience, and reassert Influenster’s dominance in the product discovery and sampling space.

Approach

Overhauling product sampling and discovery

Collaborating closely with Influensters product and brand teams, we completely reimagined the product and service experience from the ground up. During this phase, we identified features that were underutilized, redundant or causing friction. We focused the redesign on a simplified onboarding, improved product interaction, and unlock sampling opportunities.

Influenster redesign and build had a quick and noticeable impact. The beta launch was open to only 1% of Influenster members, but quickly grew through word of mouth as the community took to Reddit, Facebook and Instagram to rave about the new app.
