Challenge
A gaming icon in the 80s and 90s, Sega’s Brand languished in the 2000’s.
Dated, fragmented, and no longer fit for the company or its place in the market, particularly as it set its eyes towards being a broader content and entertainment company.To get them back on track, we reimagined the experience so that it met the needs of today’s customers, created clearer space for its franchises, and honored the legacy of a true gaming giant.
Approach
Overhauling product sampling and discovery
Collaborating closely with Influensters product and brand teams, we completely reimagined the product and service experience from the ground up. During this phase, we identified features that were underutilized, redundant or causing friction. We focused the redesign on a simplified onboarding, improved product interaction, and unlock sampling opportunities.
