Level up the Experience

A gaming icon in the 80s and 90s, Sega’s brand languished in the 2000’s and no longer fit the company—or its place.

Building an ecosystem

SEGA needed to consolidate franchises within a single destination, while also connecting dots between them and the ever-expanding entertainment universe to enhance discoverability.

We built a scalable visual system that delivered consistency without sacrificing creativity.

Templates of key layouts were built so franchise teams could quickly and independently create new pages.

One SEGA, Many worlds

Reestablishing SEGA’s gaming role required redefining its relationship with franchises. We clarified the hierarchy and contextualized franchises within a SEGA-led universe. Each franchise has its own space for discoverability, encouraging deeper exploration of games, entertainment, or merchandise.
